On the roadmap
Custom roles per company (a permission builder) is planned and not part of either plan today. Company access control is the fixed company roles plus the project roles listed above.
No surprises
Costs you may have outside the product
Two things are billed by someone else, not by us
- Your AI provider. The assistant runs on a key you bring for Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini or OpenAI. That provider bills your usage under your own agreement with them. Soft Desk never bills AI on your behalf and does not add a margin.
- Your Google account. Inbox, Meetings and Documents connect to Gmail, Google Calendar and Google Drive. A free Google account is enough; a Google Workspace account works the same way. We do not charge for connectors.

Yes. An individual account is free and self-service. It includes every module listed on this page: attendance, Today, projects and boards, time tracking, reports, clients, invoices, finance, inbox, meetings, documents, notes, search and the assistant. There is no trial that runs out and no module held back for a paid tier.
